The Who & What:

Scholastic is a globally recognized publisher, distributor and media company of childrens books. Scholastic is currently the world leader in bringing educational materials and books to children around the world.

Scholastic Asia and Kredence Creative Solutions (KCS) had collaborated in 2021 for an event, Scholastic Asia Young Storytellers Award (SAYSA). KCS had supported Scholastic Asia in running the virtual event that connects the whole of SEA for the participation of this Award Event with a goal to create an experience for families across Asia during the pandemic period in supporting their children’s needs for literacy development.


The turnout for SAYSA 2021 was a huge success with over participants over 11 countries/territories in Asia. There was a total of 1,743 successful video entries with over 1 million votes casted during the 2-week public voting period, and over 6 million public views on the submitted video entries.

SAYSA 2022 will also be launching virtually and this time round, KCS is involved in the whole process of running the event from start to finish. As the organizer of the event, KCS was in charge of the creative design, microsite and video productions to have it be a successful one in January 2023.
